We Are the World 25 for Haiti
The all star cast remake of Quincy Jones/Michael Jackson’s ‘We Are the World’ debuted during the opening ceremony of the 2010 Winter Olympics.
The remake features artists such as Jennifer Hudson, Pink, Miley Cyrus, Jamie Foxx, Tony Bennett, Barbra Streisand, Josh Groban, Kayne West, and Haitian native Wycelf Jean.
Producers Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie even kept part Michael Jackson’s original performance and the a duet with sister Janet Jackson.
All in all not a bad remake, I could’ve done with the auto-tuning from Lil Wayne and T-Pain though.
Watch for yourself and decide.
You can buy/download the song and video on iTunes now for $2.99 with proceeds going to Haiti Relief.
