I just came across the trailer for a new vamp movie called ‘Daybreakers’.  The movie stars Ethan Hawke, Sam Neill and William Dafoe, and is set to be released on Jan 8, 2010.

Edward Dalton is a researcher in the year 2019, in which an unknown plague has transformed the world’s population into vampires. As the human population nears extinction, vampires must capture and farm every remaining human, or find a blood substitute before time runs out. However, a covert group of vampires makes a remarkable discovery, one which has the power to save the human race.

I just watched the trailer and it kinda reminds me of a few things, one all the vampires seem to have golden eyes so right that’s gonna cause me think of my fave good vamp Edward Cullen from Twilight.  Also, the plot point reminds me of another Stephenie Meyer book ‘The Host’, is which human kind is fighting for survival (only from aliens), as well as a few zombie flicks.
